TK Explorers is Cottonwood’s program designed specifically for TK homeschool students. TK families will have access to:

(Grades: Any student who is learning to read)

Superstar Readers is Cottonwood’s innovative reading program based on a structured literacy approach that is designed exclusively for our homeschool community. Our program takes a flexible, family-centered approach to literacy that provides:
 

  • Free access to online and print curriculum
  • Live and recorded instruction and activities
  • Step-by-step guidance for teaching reading in the home.

BOOST

(Grades: K-6)

Boost is Cottonwood’s virtual academic program designed to enrich your K- 6th grade students’ homeschool experience. Weekly classes taught by Cottonwood teachers, enhance, not replace, your chosen homestudy curriculum.

We offer:
 

  • Live, weekly virtual classes
  • Math & Language Arts (1st – 6th grade)
  • Kinder “Circle Time” (45 minutes)
  • Interactive, in-class activities and engaging, at-home extension activities
  • Low student-to-teacher ratio.

Jr. High RISE

(Grades: 7-8)

The Cottonwood School’s RISE program reimagines and elevates the home study experience and strives to build community among our junior high students. RISE is crafted to meet not only our students’ academic needs but also their social and developmental needs. Interaction with their peers, teacher-guided discussions, project-based learning, and local meet-ups and field trips are woven into the fabric of our courses and approach. The goal of our program is to serve as a bridge between homeschooling in the elementary years and the rigors of high school.

We provide:
 

  • Standards-based direct instruction
  • Print and online curriculum
  • Grading and feedback designed to help your student take ownership of learning.

Cottonwood Virtual High School (CVHS)

(Grades: 9-12)

Cottonwood Virtual High School is carefully crafted to meet home school students’ academic, social, and developmental needs by offering flexible schedules and interaction with peers and subject-specific teachers.

CVHS offers:

  • A-G and college prep courses
  • Dedicated and caring Cottonwood teachers who deliver quality online instruction
  • Extended learning opportunities, accountability, and student support
  • Community building through live virtual classes, field trips, and events
  • Two types of class options:
    – Live! classes are designed by CVHS teachers for maximum student collaboration, engagement, and success
    – Self-Paced classes with full teacher oversight & maximum flexibility CTE courses designed for homeschool students.

The goal of CVHS is for our high school students to develop their own sense of agency, build a growth mindset, and take ownership of learning, preparing them for success beyond high school.
