HST-led FieldTrip 2024- 25 School Year
The Community Team is not able to provide support for an HST-led field trip.
For the 24-25 school year, the only option for an HST-led Field Trip is for their Roster only.
- Free field trips are best
- If the field trip has a cost, parents must pay out of pocket to the venue directly
- HSTs cannot collect funds and it cannot be added to Procurify
- HSTs are responsible for checking with Case Managers for any students on their roster with an IEP to ensure any required accommodations are provided.
- HSTs should be aware of any Medical or 504 issues of students who may attend.
- If HSTs choose to do simultaneous field trips, that is fine; but each HST must be completely responsible for their roster only.
- Families should be checked in
- Parents are responsible for directly supervising their students for the entirety of the trip
- Photo preferences must be adhered to.
- No food should be provided on an HST-led field trip.
- Bring a first aid kit with you
- If a parent needs to send an alternate chaperone with their students, please have them fill out the Chaperone Consent Form and get it to you ahead of time or bring it to the event.
