California Assessments for Student Progress & Performance (CAASPP)

As a public charter school, we are required to administer the CAASPP Assessments to all students in grades 3-8 and grade 11. This is a state-mandated assessment and our required testing completion percentage is 95%. Not meeting our expected completion rate can impact our dashboard and charter renewal. Fortunately, here at The Cottonwood School, we have successfully met our participation percentage each year; let’s keep up the good work!

How to find your Students’ Test Scores

• Go to the student dashboard in Pathways and look under test scores.
• Click on the graph symbol “View CAASPP/ELPAC PDFs”. This will pull up the PDFs for CAASPP scores.

*Note: If you are unable to see your students’ test scores, it could be because they are in the process of switching over to Cottonwood from another school. Once the student is “ours” in CALPADS and they are showing in TOMS, you will see their scores in Pathways. All scores now follow students electronically. It just takes some time for all the information to flow. We thank you for your patience.
